July 12, 2023 - Importunity

I Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.

Biblical studies teach us that there are various types of prayer such as petition, supplication, confession, praying in the Spirit, intercession, imprecatory, and more, but studying these is fruitless without practice. Continual prayer is a regular part of our life in Christ.

To this end, I believe that the Lord is presently urging us to collectively press in with persistence in our prayer. Although this message is always pertinent, I believe that this is what the Spirit is saying unto the Church right now.

I was personally lead of the Lord on this about a month ago and have recently heard three different ministers harp on this, referencing this same passage:

Luke 11:5 And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves; 6 For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him? 7 And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee. 8 I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity (def: an insistent or pressing demand) he will rise and give him as many as he needeth.

Understand that our Lord is not asking us to nag with mindless mantras but rather to enter into His presence and make our prayers known unto Him. This done in a persistent way.

See a biblical account of how this is done…

Matthew 15:21 Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon. 22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. 23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us. 24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. (Strike 1) 25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. 26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs. (Strike 2) 27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table. 28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. (Home Run!) And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

I am not sure of what our Father is up to or why our Lord would be leading us this way, but every nation on Earth needs God’s intervention immediately. When I pray for my state and country, I pray that the Lord would remove men who hate Him from chief government seats and ordain that men who fear Him should occupy those seats.

Let this last biblical reference stir your faith to pray continually, with importunity.

Luke 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; 2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: 3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. 4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; 5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. 6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. 7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? 8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

February 11, 2023 - Incongruent Confluence

Until Roe v Wade was overturned, we had been experiencing much hardship in every sector of life. Christian parents had been (still are) opposed in school board meetings across America when they stood up saying that they didn’t want their children exposed to same-sex curriculum, pagan worship, global academic standards, forced racism, and woke ideology. Employees of high competence with exemplary backgrounds were deliberately sidelined so that lesser qualified but demographically choice candidates with contemporary ideologies could be installed in prominent positions. Anyone in practically any institution, including churches, who did not toe the satanic line was Demonized until we're marginalized making us pariah’s who are ostracized.

Since Summertime last year, Christians have experienced a surge of victories which have been reported in the mainstream news. I have echoed several of them in my News Commentary and Gab postings. Bible believing Christians are not soon fooled by the uptick in publicity for righteousness. I’m writing this article to warn all Christians who walk by the Spirit to watch as this publicity accelerates, which it will. I see today as a Spring season of popular Christianity. Let me describe what I see coming.

I can see, I can see a rise in "right wing" patriotism condemning the trash that we have experienced over the past few years and that condemnation being championed by the media. I can see clergy from all sects condemning sinful acts and drawing attention to themselves as holy beacons of light, counterfeit though they be. I can see a wave of unity with Christian overtones JOINING a political movement that could turn a frenzy into a force. I see these things hitting a turning point in 2025.

Though it may not exactly be an Awakening, opportunity is widely available now to preach the gospel of Jesus to susceptible ears. I can see lots of genuine conversions occurring during this time, as well as miracles. I think people are now ready to repent after having been over exposed to wickedness, or indulged in it, for too long. With this influx of new sheep, we must determine to dwell together in unity and not send them over to that ol’ compromised pasture, reputation notwithstanding.

Matthew 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn...49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, 50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Mark 13:22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

II Corinthians 11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. (New Apostolic Reformation)

II Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

I John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Revelation 2:2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:

Revelation 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

The Vatican has made strides to unite all protestant denominations and accept their devotion to the See. Many so-called Christian “leaders” 🤢 have pledged their allegiance to the current Pope stating that their whole denomination stands with him and his endeavor to unite all religions under the banner of counterfeit love. Globally promoting false unity by touting an eisegetical misappropriation of Ephesians 4:13-15

If we’re not watchful and following the Lord earnestly, we may get swept away in this tidal wave. At or shortly after 2025, we may be forced to choose whether we stand with the publicly visible and socially acceptable universal church or with Christ.

Let’s encourage one another to be vigilant unto the Day of the Lord. Remember I Kings 19:11-13 and John 10. Determine to walk by faith and not by sight, by the Spirit and not the flesh, and every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
